Located in Ōhinewai, Waikato, this wharenui was designed for the whānau of Matahuru Marae.

Standing proud, the tinana (body) of the building stretches northward, its raked gable ends converging at the apex of the poutuaroro (front middle pou), creating a strong sense of projection and purpose.

Clad in cedar and ply, Wharepapa makes a powerful statement — one that reflects the mana of its people. It was a true honour to contribute to this kaupapa.
