mō mātou - about us

We offer a full range of design services, from concept development through to contract administration and construction phase support. We’re especially drawn to projects that prioritise enduring, thoughtful design. Our approach allows time to fully explore and refine ideas before transitioning into detailed documentation for consent and construction.

We provide Te Ao Māori cultural design consultancy, advocacy, and architectural services for collaborative projects. We’re honoured to have worked with iwi across Aotearoa, bringing their aspirations to life through thoughtful, place-based design. This mahi is a privilege, and the realisation of a long-held commitment to working in this space.

Interior design services are available in-house at Waka Group, led by the talented Sarmya Clayton — check out her work at sarmya.co.nz. We also offer feasibility studies, public space design, and integration of mahi toi. Beyond architecture, we bring a broad and interesting mix of experience — from farming and butchery to physiotherapy, childrearing, and coffee appreciation — so come in for a kōrero, we’d love to hear your story.
